1. everything you need for a recording studio in your house. This was a long time ago, but I just paid Colby for my half of it. :)

Ok... So this is the tenth picture in the fourth file I have of pictures. (Does that make sense? The tenth picture that was in file number four in Taylor's "pictures" file...) It's from Cali Lou's twenty first birthday party (ha ha, old lady). We went to a water park, and I think this one is Rachel going down a monstrous water slide. It was for a slideshow. I think it's down there somewhere....

Fishy Face

Yesterday my mom, Brendon and I went to an aquarium, and it was absolutely amazing! We held long octopus-like starfish, tarantulas, scorpions and snakes. (I even let a huge boa constrictor wrap itself around my neck. AACK!) So anyway, we saw a whole bunch of beautiful and strange fish. Mostly strange. When we came home I guess I was in a fish mood, because I had an odd urge to paint fish on people. So I did. The curvature of their faces made the fish kind of distorted at some angles, but you get the idea.

And by new I mean built the same year I was born. Ike and Bet were nice enough to give me their old car. Thanks you guys!!!! I'll cherish it forever. I affectionately call him Todd "Zorro" Maughan. It is a VW Fox (Zorro means fox en espanol)

I'm Still Alive!!!

I've been informed numerous times by Lindsey and Cali that my lack of posts makes it seem like I have fallen off the face of the earth. Don't worry! I haven't! So let me update you. I decided to move back in with my parents a while ago, and I now take the bus to school. Let me tell you, the bus is the best place to go for people watching. I've seen homeless men wearing top hats, couples cuddling (not all of them hetero), and a former peer of mine fall asleep on the guy next to him. It's an excellent form of entertainment. I've also been doing face painting for a company called Face Painting Illusions. We have been working at Thanksgiving Point at the Cornbelly maze, and Barnyard Boo. It's a fun job to have.. I'm going to do Jordan Valley's Halloween party tomorrow, so I'll post some pictures from that. We also do parties, in case anyone's interested.

3 Joys

-Getting letters from Brandon! (who by the way left for the Dominican Republic yesterday; I got to talk to him on the phone! and although I bawled my eyes out afterward, it was totally worth it. anyway, back to letters.) Nothing compares to the joy when you open the mailbox and there's a letter in there- for you!

-Dancing with Alex. Handicapped kids are the bomb! I count him as one of my all-time best friends. And he's such a good dancer. ;)

-Laying on the grass. It's so relaxing. I love it whether I'm with the neighborhood laughing or playing mafia (yeah Susan Circle!!), or if I'm just alone doing absolutely nothing!

3 Fears

-Creepy crawling insects and or arachnids. Shudder. I used to have nightmares where they were crawling all over me, and I'd claw my face to get them off. Sick.

-Windows at night. when the lights are on you can't see out of them, but anyone or anything can see in.

-Hagfish and Lampreys. Just look at them. what's not to fear?

3 Goals

-finish college and get married in the temple.

-visit africa.

-Eventually have flat abs. :)

3 Current obsessions

-Fountain pens. Even the dullest of things seem interesting when written with a fountain pen.

-Singing in the shower and dancing in the rain!

-Teaching myself random skills. The most recent being crocheting. And soon to come... carving!

3 Random Facts

-I play the bagpipes (although I haven't done it for a few years)

-I had never had a hamburger until Brandon made me eat one about a year ago. I still have only had 2.

-um... I've been to seven different countries in Europe on a tour last summer.

My aunt Ranie (who is an amazing photographer) took these pictures a few weeks ago. I was in dire need of a new one for my mom's wall, seeing as how the last one was over four years old, and I still had braces! I never sent out anything for my graduation this year, so these are sort of my senior pictures. Thanks Ranie!

School and such...

It's finally decided. I am moving in with Cali and Josh (who so graciously invited me in), and going to school at UVU. They're getting a basement apartment right across the street from the school, so I'll be within walking distance. I'm moving at the end of this month! I'm sad to leave my neighborhood, because of all the amazing people who live there, but I'm excited at the same time. Wish me luck!
